About Us

Scott Church is the owner of Category One Games. Scott has been part of the hobby/collectibles space since the late 1980's when he started selling sports cards from his school locker. Scott started playing Magic in late 1994, Star Wars CCG upon release in November of 1995, started selling on eBay in 1998 and Category One Games started in November of 2004.

Scott has been involved with many of the games that are sold on C1G. He has served on the Star Wars Players Committee Advocate board and has run events for various games throughout his 30 years of CCG experience. 

Scott and his staff are always glad to help you complete a deck, finish off your collection, or try out a new game.  The best part of the job is hearing feadback that a collection was completed, a deck finished or someone enjoyed playing games with friends.
